How to make an audio book!
Publishing (Print & Electronic)
How to make an audio book
CLASS: Monday, January 12. Audio books are on the rise, and in fact are doubling in number of titles published each year. In 2007 there were only a paltry 3,073 audio book titles available, today there are over 25,000 and growing dramatically each year. It’s time to jump on board. Our guest speaker, Richard Rieman, is a graduate of the ACX MasterClass so is well qualified to teach us what we need to know to create our own audio books. And what’s one more residual income stream!? Here’s what we’re going to learn at our first Evening Soiree. How to use ACX (the Audio Creation Exchange) to find a narrator. How to get the biggest return from an audio book (Royalty, Per Finished Hour, Stipend). How to record your own book. Contract issues to look out for as a Rights Holder. How to promote your audio book on Amazon, Audible and iTunes through social media. Only $10!
